About this role
Muon is seeking a skilled GNC Engineer to design and implement attitude control systems for spacecraft. The ideal candidate will collaborate across disciplines to create modular control solutions, enhancing mission capabilities both in design phases and through performance testing.
What you'll do
- Design and implement attitude control architectures in embedded C++
- Define requirements for ACS algorithms and systems
- Conduct analysis and simulation for mission-specific performance
- Support performance trending and anomaly resolution of on-orbit systems
- Plan and execute software and hardware testing
- Collaborate with Product and Mission Execution teams
What they're looking for
- C++ software skills
- Control and optimization theory knowledge
- Experience with LEO platform attitude actuators and sensors
- Proficiency in Python, Julia, MATLAB
- ADCS/GNC subsystem design and implementation experience
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Experience with flexible body stability analysis
