About this role

Muon Space seeks a Platform Engineer to establish and maintain the shared technical infrastructure for their High Performance Compute team, managing build flows, test environments, and delivery pipelines for FPGA and GPU code while owning planning accuracy and cross-mission coherence as the mission portfolio expands.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and evolve build flows, test environments, and CI/CD pipelines for FPGA and GPU code to ensure reproducible, reliable delivery
  • Own toolchain environments including synthesis, simulation, cross-compilation, and containerized builds across the engineering team
  • Manage complexity across multiple missions by minimizing variations and promoting reusable platform components
  • Operate at the intersection of delivery and planning methods, ensuring they evolve together as the team grows
  • Own the team's Jira roadmap with accurate tracking, snapshot reporting on progress and resource utilization
  • Publish weekly health reports covering successes, risks, blockers, and highlights for internal and cross-company audiences
