Neros is seeking an Autonomy State Estimation Engineer to enhance drone technology through the development of state estimation algorithms. The ideal candidate will work on implementing and optimizing these algorithms for reliable drone operation under various conditions.

What you'll do

• Design and implement state estimation algorithms using sensor fusion techniques
• Develop real-time software for embedded systems
• Test and validate state estimation solutions in simulated and real-world environments
• Debug and enhance estimation performance in challenging conditions
• Collaborate with teams on navigation and flight systems integration
• Stay current with advancements in the field

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in state estimation algorithm development
• Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques
• Proficient in C++ or Python
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time platforms
• Familiarity with IMU, GPS, cameras, and lidar
• Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra, probability, and optimization
• Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo or Mujoco
