Netradyne is seeking a Vehicle Data Bus Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in San Diego. This role focuses on telematics and vehicle data bus development, requiring experience with OBDII and J1939 CAN Bus Data Networks.

What you'll do

• Develop and test CAN-based telematics devices
• Support debugging and validation of vehicle communication software
• Resolve CAN Bus communication issues through direct software modification
• Utilize tools like CANalyzer and PCAN for troubleshooting
• Document and maintain Data Bus logs for various vehicle types
• Enhance J1939/OBDII solutions and support data-related features

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in vehicle telematics
• Proficient in CAN Bus Protocols (J1939, OBDII)
• C/C++ programming and firmware development
• Reverse engineering vehicle data parameters
• Experience with vehicle simulation tools
• Knowledge of wiring and cable routing techniques
• Experience with RTOS debugging
• Scripting and debugging utilities
