Software Engineer, Robot Manufacturing

Neuralink is seeking a Software Engineer for their Robot Manufacturing team to develop software that supports neurosurgical robots' production. This role offers significant ownership and requires close collaboration with engineers to refine and deploy solutions rapidly.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with robot and surgical engineers to gather software requirements
• Develop inventory and warehouse management systems for robot components
• Build lifecycle management software for robot maintenance and calibration
• Create innovative software solutions as manufacturing needs evolve
• Quickly address and fix software issues as they arise on the production floor
• Work autonomously and manage complexity in a fast-paced environment

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong full-stack engineering skills
• Experience in Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with users and engineers
• Problem-solving and ownership mentality
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
