About this role
North Point Technology seeks a Linux Systems Engineer to support a critical identity and access management environment. This role demands a strong Linux background combined with cloud and networking expertise, and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph. You'll be responsible for maintaining system health, automating tasks, and collaborating with development and security teams.
What you'll do
- Provide Tier II support for customer-facing issues
- Perform root cause analysis and mitigation for operational problems
- Develop scripts to automate operational tasks
- Manage COTS and GOTS software across environments
- Coordinate with Enterprise Services teams for security compliance
- Diagnose and resolve access issues with external teams
