About this role
Northwood seeks a Fleet Reliability Engineer to own uptime and performance across a global network of satellite ground stations. You'll combine field troubleshooting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain, upgrade, and scale antenna systems deployed worldwide from the Los Angeles headquarters.
What you'll do
- Maintain and troubleshoot antenna networks globally, ensuring fleet uptime and performance
- Deploy antennas, power systems, and networking infrastructure at remote international sites
- Partner with product and manufacturing teams to improve system reliability and maintainability
- Analyze telemetry and performance data to identify failure modes and drive automation improvements
- Execute field repairs, upgrades, and validation testing while coordinating with contractors
- Develop global maintenance strategies, sparing plans, and preventative maintenance procedures
