Forward Deployed Engineer, GTM - Korea

About this role

Notion seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end technical engagements with enterprise customers in Korea, including complex migrations, third-party integrations, and AI agent deployments. You'll embed with clients to design and build production-grade solutions while shaping best practices for scaling Notion's platform.

What you'll do

• Own technical delivery of customer engagements from discovery through implementation, including solution design and architecture
• Design, build, and operate custom agents, integrations, automations, and data pipelines connecting Notion with customer systems
• Lead large-scale data migrations with scoping, modeling, transformation, validation, and post-migration optimization
• Act as technical advisor helping customers make informed architectural decisions and expand Notion usage
• Develop feedback loops with Product and Engineering to translate real-world challenges into product improvements
• Build discovery frameworks, technical standards, and internal tooling to support scalable service delivery

What they're looking for

• 4+ years customer-facing or forward deployed engineering experience in SaaS/enterprise software
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python)
• Hands-on API and data integration experience
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences
• Native-level Korean and business-level English proficiency
• Experience with production-quality code delivery in customer contexts
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies
• Track record translating technical challenges into customer value at scale
