About this role
Notion is seeking a Software Engineer for their Developer Platform team to build extensible APIs, integration infrastructure, and tools that enable developers and admins to connect Notion with external applications and workflows. You'll work on foundational platform capabilities that support both internal engineering teams and end-user developers, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
What you'll do
- Design and implement APIs, SDKs, and integration infrastructure that enable third-party connections to Notion
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define strategy and drive execution from conception through maintenance
- Evolve Developer Platform capabilities across APIs, MCP tools, and automation workflows
- Contribute to product performance, reliability, and scalability across multiple dimensions
- Partner with engineering leadership to identify and execute high-leverage technical investments
- Own features end-to-end from conception through production deployment

- TypeScript fluency across backend and frontend
- Strong product instincts and technical decision-making
- API and developer tool design experience

- AI tool adoption and workflow optimization
