About this role

Notion seeks a Solutions Engineer to support their Commercial segment (100–300 employee companies) by partnering with Account Executives through customer discovery, tailored demos, and technical guidance. You'll help mid-market prospects evaluate and adopt Notion by addressing security, integrations, and deployment while building repeatable sales playbooks.

What you'll do

  • Conduct discovery and deliver customized product demos aligned to prospect workflows and goals
  • Partner with Account Executives to guide Commercial segment customers through evaluation and deployment
  • Advise on integrations, SSO/SAML, SCIM, and admin controls, escalating complex technical needs
  • Create proof-of-concepts and example workspaces demonstrating Notion's ability to replace point tools
  • Support security reviews, RFPs, and procurement processes with timely responses
  • Develop enablement content and document best practices to strengthen internal knowledge and sales playbooks

What they're looking for

  • 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions/Sales Engineer, Product Manager, or Implementation Specialist)
  • Mid-market or Commercial SaaS deal experience
  • Ability to explain APIs and integrations conceptually and map to workflows
  • Knowledge of SSO/SAML, SCIM, user provisioning, and security review processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication with solution design capability
  • Multi-deal project coordination and parallel engagement management
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in fast-changing environments
  • Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to adopt them for better delivery
