About this role
Notion is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to lead complex sales evaluations and implementations for large customers. You'll partner with Account Executives to design scalable solutions, conduct discovery with executive stakeholders, and shepherd deals through pilots, security reviews, and global rollouts.
What you'll do
- Partner with sales teams on strategic enterprise opportunities to understand business goals, risks, and technical requirements across stakeholders
- Lead discovery and design solution architectures spanning knowledge management, databases, and workflows with data modeling at scale
- Deliver executive presentations and hands-on POCs that demonstrate measurable ROI and drive adoption
- Guide enterprise security, privacy, and procurement processes including RFPs, data agreements, and risk assessments
- Build proof-of-concepts and example workspaces showcasing how Notion consolidates tools and enables cross-functional workflows
- Capture product feedback and enterprise requirements to influence roadmap and contribute enablement content for sales teams
What they're looking for
- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant)
- Experience managing complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders and procurement cycles
- Exceptional communication and executive-level storytelling abilities
- Project leadership and ability to manage multiple parallel evaluations
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in fast-changing environments
- Hands-on technical knowledge of databases, data modeling, and information architecture
- Familiarity with security review and RFP processes
- Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to adopt new technologies
