About this role

About Nox Metals. American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. Nox Metals is building it, along with the tools that run it. We’re a technology company with operations in Metro Detroit and Los Angeles, supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

The role. We’re hiring a Product Manager to make buying metal dramatically easier. You will own customer and commercial workflows from quote through order, helping customers get faster answers while giving our sales team better tools and clearer information.

You will spend time with customers and internal users, find the real bottleneck, and work with engineering and operations to ship improvements that move a measurable outcome.

You will

  • Own the roadmap for customer-facing and commercial software

  • Interview customers and shadow sales workflows

  • Turn customer and business problems into clear product requirements

  • Prioritize work using evidence, expected impact, and implementation cost

  • Partner closely with design, engineering, sales, pricing, and operations

  • Define success metrics and measure behavior after launch

  • Run focused experiments and use results to guide the roadmap

  • Keep stakeholders aligned on decisions, tradeoffs, and delivery

  • Improve existing workflows, not just launch new features

  • Learn enough about metals and manufacturing to make sound product decisions

You are

  • Customer-obsessed and commercially minded

  • Excellent at finding the underlying problem behind a feature request

  • Clear and concise in writing and conversation

  • Comfortable using data while recognizing what it cannot tell you

  • Decisive when information is incomplete

  • Able to build trust across sales, engineering, and operations

  • Organized, accountable, and focused on outcomes

  • Curious about complicated operational businesses

Nice to have

  • Experience with B2B commerce, quoting, pricing, or sales software

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain

  • Technical fluency with APIs, data models, and software delivery

  • Comfort using AI tools for research, analysis, and product work

Benefits

  • Equity in Nox Metals

  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance

This role is full time, in person in Los Angeles.
