Octaura is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to enhance its operational platform through automation and by addressing production issues. The role involves collaboration with development teams to maintain platform stability and support Agile and DevOps practices.

What you'll do

• Automate operations for platform stability
• Develop integrated systems and tools for workflows
• Evaluate and integrate third-party software
• Maintain compliance with audit controls
• Design solutions for application and infrastructure management
• Provide application-level support for production incidents

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
• Extensive knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Linux sysadmin experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code management, Terraform preferred
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis
• Experience with VMs and containers
• Strong communication skills
