Oklo is seeking a Civil and Environmental Engineer to join their team focused on developing advanced fission power plants. This role involves leading site development planning and creating civil infrastructure for future project sites while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution.

What you'll do

• Develop conceptual site layouts for advanced reactor facilities
• Design industrial site layouts integrating sustainability principles
• Generate early-stage civil works plans and drainage systems
• Support site feasibility studies and constructability evaluations
• Coordinate with various engineering and construction teams
• Prepare estimates for civil and site development scopes

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience in site layout and grading plan development
• Familiarity with civil engineering design software
• Experience in cost estimation and quantity takeoffs
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Able to work collaboratively across teams
• Knowledge in environmental compliance and permitting
