Civil Engineer - Site Design

About this role

Olsson is seeking a Civil Engineer for their Site Design team to work on a variety of land development projects. The role involves project design, CAD drafting, and mentoring interns, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

What you'll do

• Provide design elements for small to mid-sized engineering projects
• Assist in plan production and prepare project documentation
• Use design and modeling software effectively
• Prepare project schedules and perform design calculations
• Coordinate with experienced engineers on project techniques
• Mentor student interns and participate in research

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certificate
• 2+ years of civil engineering design experience
• Strong communication skills
• Team collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with Civil 3D is a plus
• Basic knowledge of design calculations
