Olsson is seeking a Structural Engineer - Substation to lead the design of substation infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams. This role emphasizes technical difficulty, mentorship, and contribution to pivotal infrastructure development while providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.
What you'll do
- Lead structural design for substation facilities
- Support projects from conceptual design to construction
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and other disciplines
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Engage with clients and support construction efforts
- Travel to project sites as necessary
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Over 6 years of structural engineering experience
- Concrete foundation and structural steel system design
- Knowledge of ACI, AISC, IBC, ASCE codes
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
