Transportation Engineer - Roadway

About this role

Olsson is looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training to join their Roadway team in Omaha, NE. This position focuses on transportation engineering with opportunities to engage in design work, project delivery, and community projects in a supportive team environment.

What you'll do

• Support roadway and transportation design projects
• Assist in CAD drafting and design
• Prepare technical reports and conduct research
• Participate in field observations and site visits
• Collaborate with experienced engineers
• Contribute to the complete project lifecycle

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
