Onbe is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to spearhead the modernization of legacy systems using AI-powered coding agents. This role focuses on leveraging AI tools throughout the development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and troubleshooting, while maintaining strong Java and production engineering expertise. You'll own the architecture and evolution of domain services, driving reliability and innovation within a cloud-native environment.
What you'll do
- Develop Java microservices using Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.
- Decompose legacy applications into independently deployable services.
- Design and maintain secure RESTful APIs.
- Implement event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus.
- Build automated tests following TDD practices.
- Utilize AI coding agents to generate, refactor, and test software.
