About this role

Strength in Trust

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down—it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.

The Challenge

The AI Systems Engineer will join OneTrust’s AI Center of Excellence, a team focused on enabling reliable, secure, and scalable adoption of AI and automation across the enterprise. This role is responsible for maintaining the operational health of the team’s AI platforms, integrations, and solutions so they remain reliable, secure, and supportable as adoption grows. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact by improving platform reliability, reducing operational overhead, and helping the AI Center of Excellence deliver more value safely and efficiently.

Your Mission

  • Own day-to-day administration support for Glean, Claude, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and related AI platforms across sandbox, development, QA, and production environments.

  • Configure, maintain, and monitor native connectors and MCP access, indexing and crawling processes, authentication, integration performance, and connector health to support reliable search, retrieval, and AI experiences.

  • Provide first-line support for chat, agent, connector, indexing, authentication, and permission-related issues; diagnose problems, resolve issues within established procedures, and escalate when appropriate.

  • Execute and coordinate agents, custom connector, and related resource migrations across development, QA, and production environments.

  • Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment validation, release readiness, and post-release support for feature and agent enablement to maintain solution stability.

  • Triage AI incidents and conduct or coordinate root-cause analysis for platform outages, change-related failures, authentication or integration issues, and capacity or credit shortages.

  • Monitor AI platform usage, consumption, and credit utilization; produce usage and cost reports, identify unexpected trends, and help implement guardrails and mitigations to prevent unanticipated cost increases.

  • Inventory and clean up redundant or abandoned resources, including unused skills, agents, Power Automate flows, connectors, and related configurations.

  • Maintain accurate configuration records, operational documentation, inventories, runbooks, known-issue registers, deployment evidence, and compliance documentation.

  • Support users, citizen developers, and business stakeholders through onboarding, training, office hours, and troubleshooting guidance.

  • Enable approved platform features, tools, models, and integrations in accordance with established standards, security controls, and governance requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, platform reliability, supportability, and delivery efficiency.

You Are/Have

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical operations, platform administration, systems integration, automation, AI technologies, SaaS administration, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI, automation, integration, or SaaS platforms.

  • Working knowledge of APIs, OAuth, service accounts, webhooks, connectors, authentication, and permissions.

  • Experience supporting production technology environments and coordinating changes across development, test, and production environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills, including the ability to investigate root causes, assess impact, communicate status, and escalate appropriately.

  • Experience with monitoring platform health, integration performance, usage and consumption, authentication expiry, and cost or credit trends.

  • Ability to work independently with general direction, prioritize competing demands, exercise sound judgment, and recognize operational risks.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, including the ability to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Commitment to secure, governed, and supportable operations, including adherence to established standards, controls, and compliance requirements.

Extra Awesome

  • Experience with one or more of the following applications: Glean, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or Power Platform.

  • Experience creating integrations with enterprise platforms such as Jira, Salesforce, Workday, Ironclad, Snowflake, GitLab, Highspot or similar systems.

  • Understanding of prompt design, orchestration patterns, and AI solution behavior across agentic and automation use cases.

  • Experience with AI architecture, MCP tethering, A2A automations, and/or AI testing protocols.

  • Hands-on experience building complex agentic AI solutions or automations.

  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, AI Fundamentals, or related technologies.
