onX is looking for a Growth Android Engineer to enhance user experiences in their outdoor exploration app. This role focuses on user activation post-purchase and requires collaboration within a dynamic team, driving innovation and improvements through experimentation and data analysis.

What you'll do

• Develop user-facing features in the Android app using Kotlin
• Write and review code and tests promptly
• Maintain third-party library integrations like Braze and Mparticle
• Participate in architecture and code standard discussions
• Generate ideas aligned with the team’s quarterly objectives
• Collaborate effectively with team members

What they're looking for

• 4+ years in professional software development
• Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience with gRPC, GraphQL, and REST
• Strong foundation in computer science
• Proficiency in GIT
• Ability to mentor and be mentored
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Customer advocacy
