AI Deployment Engineer- Codex

About this role

OpenAI seeks an AI Deployment Engineer to help enterprise customers adopt Codex throughout their software development lifecycle. You'll serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, designing AI-enhanced workflows, building demos, leading enablement sessions, and gathering product insights from real-world deployments.

What you'll do

• Act as primary technical subject matter expert for a customer portfolio, embedding deeply to enable engineering teams and build coding workflows
• Design and implement AI-enhanced development workflows from prototyping through production rollout
• Build high-quality demos, reference implementations, and automations using Codex
• Lead workshops and technical enablement sessions to help organizations adopt AI coding tools safely
• Contribute technical content and best practices to the OpenAI Cookbook
• Gather customer insights and translate them into product proposals and model feedback
