AI Deployment Engineer- Codex

About this role

OpenAI seeks an AI Deployment Engineer to serve as a technical expert guiding enterprise customers in adopting Codex throughout their development workflows. You'll design AI-enhanced coding workflows, build demos and integrations, lead technical enablement, and translate customer insights into product feedback.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary technical expert for a portfolio of customers, embedding with engineering teams to enable Codex adoption
• Design and implement AI-enhanced development workflows from prototyping through production rollout
• Build high-quality demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations using Codex
• Lead workshops and technical enablement sessions for engineering organizations
• Contribute technical content, guides, and best practices to the OpenAI Cookbook
• Gather product insights from customer deployments and influence product direction

• 5+ years technical consulting, solutions architecture, or post-sales engineering
• Active power user of AI coding tools with deep customization experience
