AI Deployment Engineer, Codex | Korea

About this role

OpenAI seeks an AI Deployment Engineer in Seoul to help enterprise customers integrate Codex into their development workflows. You'll combine deep technical expertise with customer partnership, designing AI-enhanced coding systems while building demos, leading workshops, and shaping product direction based on real-world deployment insights.

What you'll do

• Serve as technical expert for a customer portfolio, designing and implementing AI-enhanced development workflows from prototype to production
• Build high-quality demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations using Codex
• Lead technical workshops and enablement sessions to help engineering teams adopt AI coding tools safely and effectively
• Contribute technical content, patterns, and best practices to the OpenAI Cookbook and broader community
• Gather product insights from customer deployments and translate them into actionable feedback for internal teams
• Act as trusted advisor on solution architecture, security, model configuration, and adoption strategy

What they're looking for

• Post-sales engineering or solutions architecture (8+ years)
• Software engineering and SDLC knowledge (2+ years experience)
• Advanced proficiency with AI coding tools and custom developer workflows
• Prototyping and demo development with Codex
