Developer Experience Engineer

About this role

OpenAI seeks a Developer Experience Engineer to create compelling demos, technical content, and sample applications that help developers build with Codex and frontier models. You'll engage with the developer community, represent OpenAI at events, and collaborate across teams to drive adoption of OpenAI's APIs and products.

What you'll do

• Develop demos and sample applications showcasing best practices with Codex, frontier models, and AI agents
• Create technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples for developers
• Engage with developer communities locally and globally to foster ecosystem growth
• Represent OpenAI at developer events and online as a developer advocate
• Gather developer feedback to inform product roadmap improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams
