Full-Stack SWE, Data Acquisition (Foundations)

About this role

Join OpenAI's Data Acquisition team as a Full-Stack Engineer to build and optimize the tools and interfaces powering large-scale data collection for model training. You'll develop internal dashboards, APIs, and web-based systems while collaborating across teams to ensure efficient and compliant data workflows.

What you'll do

• Build full-stack applications including internal tools and monitoring dashboards for data acquisition
• Design and implement APIs connecting internal services and external data sources
• Create intuitive web interfaces for managing and monitoring data pipelines
• Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and security in distributed environments
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure privacy regulation adherence

• Full-stack development with 4+ years experience
• Frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
• Backend languages (Python, Node.js, or Go)
