Solutions Engineer

About this role

OpenAI seeks a Solutions Engineer in Seoul to drive customer success with ChatGPT and OpenAI API by understanding business needs, demonstrating product value, and guiding AI strategy for enterprises and startups. You'll lead pre-sales engagements, handle security/compliance questions, and serve as the voice of the customer to internal teams.

What you'll do

• Deliver exceptional pre-sales experiences and provide technical expertise to enterprise customers
• Conduct product demos, use case scoping, and proof-of-concept projects
• Address security and compliance questions and escalate complex requirements
• Create documentation, guides, and FAQs based on customer feedback
• Build and nurture customer relationships throughout evaluation and purchasing
• Collaborate with Sales and GRC teams to gather customer insights and inform product planning

What they're looking for

• Solutions engineering (7+ years experience)
• Enterprise pre-sales experience with technical B2B SaaS products
• Security and compliance knowledge (IT security principles, customer requirements)
• Executive presentation and communication skills
• Problem-solving and multi-project management
• AI/AI safety knowledge and commitment
• Relationship building with large, complex organizations
• Context switching and prioritization
