About this role
OpenAI seeks a Solutions Engineer to support large Private Equity customers in maximizing value from OpenAI's AI products. You'll provide pre-sales technical expertise, develop AI strategy recommendations, and guide enterprise customers through implementation and adoption of generative AI solutions.
What you'll do
- Deliver pre-sales technical support to large Private Equity prospects, answering product and API questions
- Build and present demos showcasing how OpenAI products solve customer business needs
- Recommend architectural patterns and scope high-value AI use cases for enterprise customers
- Create technical documentation, guides, and FAQs based on customer requirements
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to internal product and sales teams
- Handle security and compliance inquiries, escalating complex requirements to appropriate teams
What they're looking for
- 10+ years technical pre-sales or solutions engineering experience
- 3+ years working with Private Equity partners
- IT security and B2B SaaS compliance knowledge
- Python or JavaScript programming
- Generative AI and traditional ML solution development
- Cloud and network architecture understanding
- Executive presentation and communication skills
- Problem-solving and self-directed learning
