Value Engineer, AI Success - NYC

About this role

OpenAI is seeking a Value Engineer to help enterprise, education, and government customers quantify and realize business value from AI adoption. You'll build ROI models, conduct value discovery, create executive business cases, and develop scalable frameworks that drive deal strategy and expansion across the sales organization.

What you'll do

• Lead business value assessments for major deals and identify key business drivers with customers
• Build and maintain ROI, TCO, and value modeling tools for internal and customer use
• Conduct structured value discovery to identify high-impact use cases and measurable outcomes
• Create executive-ready business cases and strengthen relationships with C-level stakeholders
• Develop scalable value frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets for the GTM organization
• Establish KPIs, baselines, and dashboards to track and communicate value delivery
