Value Engineer, AI Success - San Francisco

About this role

OpenAI seeks a Value Engineer to help enterprise, education, and government customers quantify the business impact of AI adoption. You'll develop ROI models, business cases, and scalable value frameworks while partnering with sales and product teams to drive measurable outcomes and support deal strategy.

What you'll do

• Lead business value assessments for large deals and identify high-impact AI use cases
• Build and maintain ROI, TCO, and value modeling tools for internal and customer use
• Develop executive-ready business cases and present to C-level stakeholders
• Create standardized value frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets for the GTM organization
• Establish KPIs, baselines, and dashboards to track value delivery
• Partner with Account Directors on deal strategy, renewals, and expansion opportunities
