OP Labs is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Japan to facilitate the adoption of Optimism's blockchain technology among enterprises and institutions. The role combines sales, engineering, and product functions, and includes responsibilities like evaluating technical requirements, supporting integrations, and acting as a trusted advisor in the Japanese market.

What you'll do

• Support deal execution and technical validation for enterprise partners
• Translate enterprise needs into technical feedback for product teams
• Guide partners through OP Stack architecture and best practices
• Participate in technical workshops and industry events
• Localize documentation and enable technical support in Japanese

What they're looking for

• 5–10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
• Background in blockchain infrastructure and financial systems
• Hands-on experience with Ethereum or EVM-based platforms
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure
• Fluent in Japanese and professional proficiency in English
