Support Engineer

About this role

Orion Innovation is seeking a Support Engineer to enhance and maintain benchtop instrumentation applications and IT tools in a GxP environment. The role involves coordinating quality applications, configuring equipment, and supporting lab systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What you'll do

• Support administration of laboratory applications and their software lifecycle
• Build and configure PCs including network connections and user permissions
• Configure existing and new laboratory equipment and instruments
• Review validation lifecycle documents as part of compliance activities
• Interact with ServiceNow for digital change approvals
• Maintain and update operational SOPs for lab systems

What they're looking for

• BS in life sciences, engineering, or computer field
• 2+ years in regulated industries (Biotech, Pharmaceutical)
• Experience with benchtop instruments and GxP compliance
• Knowledge of Data Integrity and Software Development Life Cycle
• Familiarity with SOPs and cGMPs
• Strong communication skills
• Project planning and leadership abilities
• Understanding of network, databases, and PC administration
