About this role

Overflow is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to establish the foundation for their new Platform/DevOps team. This role will focus on ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency of systems while prioritizing security and compliance, particularly for SOC 2 and PCI Level 1 certifications. You’ll be instrumental in building robust CI/CD pipelines and integrating security practices into the development workflow.

  • Secure and scale Overflow’s AWS cloud environment, implementing security best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Integrate automated security testing into developer workflows.
  • Maintain SOC 2 technical controls and prepare for PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to streamline security audits and vendor risk assessments.
