About this role
Palantir seeks an Application Security Engineer to protect mission-critical software used in defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors. You'll conduct comprehensive security reviews, architect secure systems, lead company-wide security initiatives, and identify vulnerabilities across the product portfolio.
What you'll do
- Perform whitebox, greybox, and blackbox security assessments of products and services
- Serve as security subject matter expert for product architects and engineering teams on threat modeling and risk assessment
- Own strategic security initiatives such as software supply chain controls and security automation
- Identify and analyze vulnerabilities using static/dynamic analysis, security scanning, and incident investigation
- Collaborate with offensive security, engineering, and InfoSec teams to harden products against advanced threats
- Drive secure-by-default product design through architecture reviews and security controls implementation
