About this role
Palantir seeks an Application Security Engineer to protect mission-critical software platforms used in defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors. You'll conduct comprehensive security reviews, guide product architecture decisions, drive company-wide security initiatives, and identify vulnerabilities across the product portfolio.
What you'll do
- Perform whitebox, greybox, and blackbox security assessments of products and services
- Serve as security subject matter expert for product architects and engineering teams on threat modeling and risk assessment
- Own strategic security initiatives with company-wide impact, such as supply chain security and automation
- Identify and analyze vulnerabilities using static/dynamic analysis, security scanning, and incident investigation
- Collaborate with offensive security, engineering, and InfoSec teams to harden products against advanced threats
- Help implement security controls and ensure secure-by-default product design
