Forward Deployed Software Engineer - US Government

About this role

Palantir seeks Forward Deployed Software Engineers to work directly with US government customers solving critical data problems. You'll own end-to-end project execution in small teams, combining technical architecture, data engineering, custom development, and strategic customer collaboration to drive real-world impact.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers to understand complex problems and design data-driven solutions
• Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects with minimal supervision
• Design and discuss system architecture with engineering teams
• Build custom applications and manage large-scale data engineering challenges
• Communicate technical concepts to customer executives and stakeholders
• Establish strategy and direction for project teams
