Forward Deployed Software Engineer - US Government

About this role

Palantir seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with US government customers, designing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions to address their most complex data and operational challenges. You'll move between customer sites, rapidly prototype solutions, and drive impact across critical missions like fraud detection and disaster relief.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy full-stack solutions addressing customer pain points across government agencies
• Conduct rapid prototyping and iterate based on continuous customer and colleague feedback
• Integrate Palantir platforms with open-source and custom-built technologies to solve hard problems
• Lead technical decision-making from system architecture through application development and data integration
• Work on diverse mission-critical challenges including fraud detection, supply chain forecasting, and emergency response
• Collaborate with customers globally to understand regulatory, data, and user population constraints
