Software Engineer, New Grad - Defense

Join Palantir as a new graduate software engineer to build large-scale data platforms used by government, defense, and nonprofit organizations worldwide. What you'll do

• Develop and ship high-quality code for Palantir Gotham products used by defense and government sectors
• Participate in full product lifecycle from ideation and design through prototyping and deployment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand customer needs
• Visit customer sites to observe real-world operations and inform product development
• Work on specific product components such as geospatial tools or release infrastructure
• Learn from dedicated mentor while contributing to cross-functional team projects

• Software development in multiple languages (Java, Go, TypeScript)
• Backend and frontend development
• Clean code practices and quick language acquisition
• Problem-solving and technical design
• Collaboration and communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with open-source technologies (Spark, Cassandra, React, Elasticsearch)
• Build tooling familiarity (Gradle, GitHub)
