A renewable energy company in Portland, OR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Structures to design and develop innovative offshore structures for their core technology, the ‘Node’. This role requires a proactive engineer with a strong foundation in structural analysis and a hands-on approach to lead projects from concept through to deployment.

What you'll do

• Design and analyze Node structures and subsystems
• Conduct structural and dynamic analysis to validate designs
• Create and maintain CAD models and detailed drawings
• Drive engineering reviews and document technical findings
• Plan and support structural validation testing
• Collaborate with manufacturing and offshore teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of mechanical or structural design experience
• 3D CAD modeling proficiency
• Strong structural analysis fundamentals
• Knowledge of GD&T and drawing creation
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
