Electrical Hardware Engineer – PCB & Electrical Systems

About this role

Path Robotics is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and develop PCBs for robotic welding systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PCB design and a strong understanding of electrical systems, ensuring the integration and reliability of components in advanced automated manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Design and develop PCBs for embedded control and sensor interfacing
• Oversee designs from schematic capture to hardware validation
• Select components considering availability and reliability
• Define electrical interfaces for custom and off-the-shelf hardware
• Execute hardware test plans and debug using lab equipment
• Maintain design documentation and collaborate with manufacturers

What they're looking for

• 3–6 years of hardware engineering experience
• Proficiency in EDA tools for PCB layout
• Experience with multi-layer PCBs and mixed-signal designs
• Knowledge of embedded communication protocols
• Understanding of power electronics and motor drive
• Ability to debug hardware independently
