Machine Learning Engineer, Perception

About this role

Path Robotics is on the lookout for Machine Learning Engineers with a focus on robotic welding solutions. Candidates will work with advanced algorithms in perception, integrating ML models into robotic systems, and contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

• Implement and validate machine learning algorithms for weld perception tasks
• Build and maintain data pipelines for perception model training
• Run rigorous model evaluation experiments and communicate findings
• Integrate trained models into production ROS-based systems
• Lead research and development of advanced perception algorithms
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership

What they're looking for

• Python programming
• Machine learning and deep learning expertise
• Experience with 3D point cloud and geometric data
• Familiarity with ROS-based architectures
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in end-to-end ML project management
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art deep learning models
