About this role
Path Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to innovate in the field of automated robotic welding systems by designing fixtures and subsystems, working with SolidWorks and FEA, and assisting with hands-on prototyping. Ideal candidates will have experience in mechanical design for automation, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
What you'll do
- Design welding fixtures and robotic cell layouts
- Create part drawings and mechanical BOMs in SolidWorks
- Perform structural validation with SolidWorks Simulation
- Integrate pneumatic and electrical subsystems
- Build and validate designs through prototyping
- Assist with manufacturing and resolve mechanical issues
