About this role
Path Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to enhance their innovative mobile welding robotics solutions. In this hands-on role, you'll design mechanical systems for adaptive robotic welding and collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure successful implementation in real-world environments.
What you'll do
- Design mechanical assemblies for mobile robotic welding platforms
- Own design process from concept to fabrication and validation
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate sensing hardware
- Apply design-for-manufacturing principles across various fabrication methods
- Create and maintain CAD models and documentation
- Support design improvements based on field data
What they're looking for
- 3–6 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM
- Understanding of engineering drawing standards
- Experience with various manufacturing methods
- Ability to analyze mechanical interfaces
- Strong problem-solving skills
