About this role

Pave is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to strengthen their security posture and automate essential tasks within their growing compensation platform company. This role focuses on identity and access management, endpoint and SaaS security, and compliance operations (SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001), with a heavy emphasis on leveraging automation and AI to streamline workflows. You'll also partner with the helpdesk team to design systems that empower them to deliver exceptional support.

What you'll do

  • Manage and automate identity and access management using Okta.
  • Maintain and enforce the role-based access control (RBAC) model.
  • Own and automate SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance controls.
  • Secure endpoints through MDM/EDR solutions and manage SaaS vendor security.
  • Automate manual IT tasks like onboarding/offboarding and access requests.
  • Design systems to support the helpdesk team and improve their efficiency.
