Founding Engineer - Pom Health

Pom Health is seeking a Founding Engineer to help build and scale their innovative nutrition care platform, designed to integrate with healthcare systems and support patients' dietary needs. This role involves creating both consumer-facing tools and B2B solutions that leverage AI within a healthcare context.

What you'll do

• Develop products for patient engagement in dietary changes
• Create tools for clinicians that integrate with existing EHRs
• Build behavior change solutions and AI-driven check-in systems
• Work closely with users including doctors and dietitians to gather requirements
• Manage technical decisions and production systems from start to finish
• Navigate regulatory compliance while designing healthcare solutions

What they're looking for

• 3-5+ years of engineering experience in healthcare
• Experience with building production systems
• Ability to communicate directly with users
• Comfortable with ambiguity and creating foundational products
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations
• Experience with AI and data-driven product development
• Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments
