Forward Deployed Engineer

PermitFlow is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to enhance customer experiences by developing tailored software solutions using real data and systems. This unique position involves working closely with clients, integrating functionalities, and shaping product offerings based on customer insights.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with customer operations during pre-sale and pilot phases
• Develop prototypes using real customer data and integrations
• Create reusable product features from unique customer requirements
• Establish feedback loops for product improvement
• Provide customer insights to inform product and design teams
• Work across teams to influence product roadmap

What they're looking for

• Strong software engineering skills
• Experience with APIs and data models
• Prototyping with real-world data
• Familiarity with CRMs and field-ops tools
• Ability to create reusable products
• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Customer-facing communication skills
• Background in construction or permitting (preferred)
