Persona is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in networking to enhance and manage their edge network infrastructure. This role involves ownership of network configuration and observability, aiming to streamline traffic changes and improve performance for various applications.

What you'll do

• Manage edge networking configuration including routing and rate limiting.
• Enhance ingress layer for reliable and self-service inbound traffic.
• Oversee DNS management across clusters and zones.
• Build network-layer observability to diagnose issues proactively.
• Support regional expansion with scalable networking solutions.
• Define team practices and technical standards in networking.

What they're looking for

• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with diagnosing network layer issues.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and ingress controllers.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles.
• Experience building internal platforms or tools.
• Cloudflare experience preferred.
• Understanding of service meshes like Istio.
• Problem-solving and investigatory skills.
