About this role

Personalis, Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer II who will design, develop, and maintain Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to support their genomic operations. The position requires collaboration with senior engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a regulated environment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems supporting laboratory operations
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and/or Java
• Implement solutions with various database technologies
• Manage services deployed in AWS cloud environment
• Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot technical issues in development and production environments
• Collaborate with teams to create effective technical solutions
