Network Operations Engineer

About this role

Pico is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to ensure the stability of its electronic trading network, PicoNet, across multiple global locations. The role involves providing front-line support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with clients and team members to enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve operational issues
• Monitor network infrastructure health
• Implement network changes according to policy
• Assist clients with support queries
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in global team collaborations

What they're looking for

• CCNP certification or higher
• Strong understanding of IPv4 addressing
• Experience with TCP/IP stack
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Familiarity with SNMP and Syslog
• Experience with IPSec VPNs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively
