Point72 is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance their execution services by designing and implementing modern web applications using React and TypeScript. This role involves collaborating with traders and backend engineers to deliver high-performance, real-time financial applications while supporting professional growth and innovative contributions within a dynamic technology team.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain React and TypeScript applications for order entry and dashboards
• Implement real-time, low-latency user interfaces using WebSockets
• Develop reusable component libraries and ensure consistent design
• Integrate front-end applications with market data feeds and internal APIs
• Conduct testing and manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with traders to gather requirements and iterate on features

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in web application development
• 3+ years of experience with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of state management and component architecture
• Experience with high-performance data visualization
• Familiarity with WebSockets and streaming patterns
• Proficiency in testing tools like Jest and Cypress
