Software Engineer, Macro Technology

About this role

Point72 is seeking a Software Engineer for its Macro Technology team in New York or Stamford. The role focuses on developing full-stack applications to enhance Macro trading workflows and integrate AI tools into the software lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design and implement full-stack trader-facing applications
• Lead trade capture workflow and blotter interface development
• Collaborate with traders to convert workflows into software designs
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from problem framing to production rollout
• Embed controls and support into trading flows with Operations and Compliance
• Conduct production support and incident resolution for trading workflows

What they're looking for

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering
• Backend experience in C# and/or Java
• Frontend development with React or similar
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of financial markets, especially Fixed Income, Futures, or FX
• Proficiency in using AI tools for software delivery
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on production support
